How to Solve Error: Windows explorer has stopped working in Windows ?

  1. First you have to click on the Start button, There you will see the option of Search Program and File, 
  2. You have to write it there eventvwr , You have to press enter key after typing, As soon as you press Enter, one window will open in front of you with Event Viewer name. 
  3. You will see an option called Windows Logs, you have to click on it- 
  4. Now you will get the option of Application name There you have to click, 
  5. You will see an action name option in the right side of the screen. Below that you will see all the options, in that you have to click on Clear log. 
  6. After that one more small window will come in There you have to click on clear, Now close the event Window.

Solution Two of Windows explorer has stopped working

  1. You have to press the R button along with the window from your keyboard, There will give the option of  RUN command. 
  2. You have to press the Enter key after typing regedit, You will get Registry Editor's window in front of you, 
  3. You will see the first option HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT there, you have to click, 
  4. then you will see the option named *, you have to click, 
  5. then you will see the option named shellex There you have to click, 
  6. then you will see the option named ContextMenuHandlers. To click, 
  7. after that you have to delete some folders like DaemonShellExt Image, WinRAR, WinRAR32 and 7-zip, after deleting, close the window

Solution third of Windows explorer has stopped working

  1. Now you have to click the start button of the computer and the search option is given there, 
  2. you have to write Disk cleanup in it, as soon as you write, the search result will come up, you have to click Disk Cleanup.exe there, as soon as you click You will see one small window in front of you, 
  3. There you have to select C Drive and click on OK, after OK it will take some time of scanning, 
  4. after that 1 more window will appear in front of you There you have to tick all the options. 
  5. All you have to do is click OK, you will be asked to delete as soon as you click There you have to click on Delete Files

Solution fourth of Windows explorer has stopped working

  1. you have to press the R button with the windows from your keyboard, There will open your run command. 
  2. You have to write TEMP there and press ENTER key, after that the folder of TEMP will open, 
  3. Delete all the files in that folder. 
  4. Now Again Press Windows+R Button and open Run Command 
  5. Now you have to Write %TEMP% there and press ENTER key, 
  6. After that the folder of TEMP will open, delete all the files in that folder. again open run command and type tree and Enter,

Solution Fifth and last of Windows explorer has stopped working

  1. You have to open internet explorer, 
  2. Now you will see the option with Star in the right side, click on the option next to it. or Tools, 
  3. There you will see Internet Options, you have to click on it The window of Internet Options will open,
  4. There you will get the option of Advanced in the right side, there you have to click, 
  5. within that you will get the option of Browsing, in that you will get the option of Enable Third-party browser extensions, from that you have to remove the tick mark after that on OK Click
